About Rhy’s Kitchen
Blessed Beginnings
Rhy’s Kitchen is a Black-owned and women-owned business, built on passion, community, and faith. I truly believe that God has blessed me with the ability to cook not just for myself and my circle, but to grow, connect, and share love with others through one of the most universal languages there is: food.
Rhy’s Kitchen currently serves Greensboro and Raleigh, with travel outside those areas considered on a case-by-case basis.
Food safety is very important to me, and I follow safe food handling practices at all times. I take dietary restrictions and allergens seriously when they are communicated in advance. However, please note that food is prepared in a kitchen that may handle common allergens.
Every order, event, and meal shared through Rhy’s Kitchen means the world to me. I’m excited to keep growing, serving my community, and creating food that people can gather around and enjoy.

What’s there to know about me besides my love for cooking? First and foremost, I’m a woman of faith. I love Jesus and truly believe He blesses each of us with gifts and talents so we can be a blessing to others and help grow His kingdom. Cooking is one of the ways I get to do that. I’ve loved being in the kitchen since I was young, learning alongside my parents and eventually experimenting on my own. To me, cooking is a form of art; the same way a producer layers sounds to create a song or a painter blends colors on a canvas, I enjoy combining ingredients and spices to create something people can enjoy.
Outside of the kitchen, I’m a big nature lover. My friends jokingly call me an “earth girl” because of how drawn I am to the outdoors. I love going on hikes, walking barefoot in the grass, swimming in lakes, skiing in the snow, and having picnics whenever I can. I’m also the friend who always has a camera in hand. Documenting life and creating archives of its moments – no matter how big or small – is something that brings me a lot of joy.
When I’m not cooking for Rhy’s Kitchen, I’m usually cooking for the people closest to me. That often means making meals for my amazing mom and dad, who deserve to be catered to for everything they’ve invested in me. Or feeding my seemingly always hungry younger and older brothers who usually repay me by cleaning the kitchen afterwards. And of course, there’s my sweet fur baby Rocket, who always gets a few scraps simply for being a very handsome good boy. I’m also a soon-to-be graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where I studied Journalism and Mass Communications — another creative outlet that reflects my love for storytelling and connecting with people.
